John Korsrud

John Korsrud is the leader and principle composer of the 17-piece Hard Rubber Orchestra, a jazz/ new music ensemble that has toured to Europe, and Canada, released three CDs, and is the recipient of Canada’s largest arts prize, The Alcan Arts Award.

In 2010, John performed on his trumpet concerto, Come to the Dark Side, at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2010, commissioned and performed by The American Composers Orchestra. Read more about John and listen to his music at www.johnkorsrud.com

Monique Leger

For over 2 decades, Monique Léger has been a fixture at the Canada Arts Council managing Arts Services and Building Communities through Arts and Heritage at Canadian Heritage. Her personal art practice involves a lifelong study of Authentic movement and Syntonics which she has taught at the Ottawa Dance Directive and in New Brunswick. Monique is also a mentor beekeeper and devoted her time to spare to Ottawa’s Neighborhood Hidden Harvest.

Ian Prentice and Rachel White

Brand new parents, Ian Prentice and Rachel White comprise half of DRIL Art Collective, founded in 2009. Both are graduates of NSCAD University with diverse backgrounds in painting, sculpture, ceramics and printmaking. Currently DRIL is in residence at the Union House executing a Canada Council funded research grant on the use of camera-obscura in the depiction of old decaying architecture. www.drilartcollective.com

Jane Gennaro

Jane Gennaro is a New York based actor, writer and multi-media artist. Gennaro’s work explores the relationship between bodies, society, and nature in diverse formats from her one woman shows—The Boob Story and Heebie Jeebies; to visual art exhibitions—Articulate Remains; and Feed the Models!; to hybrid performance/art shows—Shaking the Goose Egg, Feed the Models.
